LACCoS has been a conservation leader and a reliable partner for organizations with similar goals. With plus 15 years of experience in conservation, ecotourism, and community empowerment, LACCoS has been a model youth-based organization that has expanded its scope of operations to address all development sectors while capitalizing on the region's rich natural capital. In addition to organizing regular events, LACCoS has undertaken a variety of projects.
Specifically, LACCoS has:
- Conducted awareness campaigns on environmental conservation and sustainable tourism.
- Provided training to community members on sustainable agriculture, forest management, and disaster risk reduction.
- Established community-based enterprises to promote ecotourism and sustainable livelihoods.
